Ahh... Christmas

It's Friday and almost Christmas. This is good. What isn't good is your distressed mother ringing early on Friday morning to tell you you're very difficult to buy for. I love my mam, so I decided to dedicate most of the morning searching for something she could buy me. And here's what I found:

This Lego boombox that I found on swissmiss is awesome! I want it right now. I wonder if I got three of them would they stack together? I could create... a wall of sound! (sorry about that. It's Friday)

Moving on. These books unfortunately don't exist. But if they did I'd want all of them. A great idea, executed beautifully. All of your favourite websites turned into vintage penguin book covers.

For the past 2/3 years O2 has been the only provider of the iPhone in Ireland. But, starting January Vodafone have the iPhone. I may have to accidentally throw my existing phone and iPod touch down the toilet but these are sacrifices I'm willing to make.

So, after much internet and soul searching I've asked for money. My mam is understandably disappointed in my ability to find a present she could buy in town for me today. She was particularly unimpressed by the request for phantom penguin covers. I promised to be a good son and have a more tangible suggestion for next year.
