Today I was faced with a bit of a problem, or as certain people I know would call it: a clients creative challenge. I'll reserve a whole other post for that phrase.
After two failed attempts to get a certain press campaign past the client I was asked to work on a new way of art directing an older route (also previously rejected by the way). Faced with this lovely task on a wet Monday morning in Dublin and still very much in my previously mentioned my bad mood, I went to a place that has never failed to inspire me.
It was not the pub. It was ffffound.
Here is a collection of images that I spent more than several seconds staring at. It's funny to think that from these random images I found art directional inspiration.
Because the ad isn't finished I won't (can't) post it with these images. But believe me, I made it and I have no idea how Batman standing in front of an army made me think: "Eureka! I know how to crack this savings deposits ad!"
Hey, there could be an idea in this...

c. lovin the italic poster could be good for our ceiling
After reading Adrian Shaughnessy's book that I blogged about earlier it turns out the poster is incorrect. Technically it's oblique not italic.
Now that's pedantic.
