Next Friday Ireland will vote (again) on the Lisbon Treaty. "Yes" seems to be the logical and correct choice for two reasons: Firstly having read the literature it makes economic sense, and secondly the "No" campaign is just plain ignorant and racist. The posters above are obviously not real, but actually quite accurately reflect the beliefs and posters of the No vote. Anyone with half a brain would realise that the entire No campaign is based in racism and nationalist propaganda; playing on the fears of Ireland being "invaded" by yet another oppressor, this time in the form of the EU. As a voter it's difficult to take the No vote seriously. Having read the more intelligent literature on the No vote it's a pity they've allowed their campaign to be overshadowed by the use of base tactics and racism.

These are funny, and also not to far off the truth! I saw two "No" vote posters today, literally across the street from each other giving two different numbers relating to unemployment figures in the rest of the EU.

From a design point of view, the "No" vote posters use a lot of red and are reminiscent of communist posters.
